Support on Trial

Hello All

 

This is by no means any kind of snipe so far I am hugely impressed with this script even with a few issues that I have resolved on this forum, its not perfect yet but fingers crossed by the end of the day.

 

Now I dont know if mine was a particularly problematic installation but in total if I get finished today it will have taken me 3 days to install and configure and actually get it working the way it should so 12 days left to evaluate.

 

3 days is quite a long time, I fully appreciate thats it's not the fault of the script and all server side issues but the lack of access to any kind of quick support has probably added 2 days to this figure, I wonder how many people have donloaded the trial for this brilliant software and then give up completely before they ever managed to get it working?

 

I realise WHMCS would need a huge support section to be able to offer support to trial users but surely as "potential" customers there should be something on offer? I know there's loads of documentaion which is very indepth and covers most thing but it doesn't cover everything, then you come to the forum which has a great archive but lots of posts get resolved without anyone ever revealing the solution or some of them dont attract replies at all so you have to wait.

 

Time is important and I think it is sad that some "potential" customers out there will simply walk away before ever seeing the software work and of course their word of mouth reccomendation the would also be negative.

 

Im not criticising anyone or anything I am already a huge fan of this software I am just sharing my experiences and also what may be the point of view of others who found themselves in my situation.

 

BTW My server is a dedicated with 1 & 1 and configured about as standard as they come (apart from the lack of ioncube lol) and still I had problems.
