DNP help - I'm on a trial

HI All,

 

I'm currently trial WHMCS and 'm getting the following error when I try to activate an account.

 

Module Command Error

wsdl error: HTTP ERROR: Couldn't open socket connection to server http://115.178.23.95:9002/esPackages.asmx?WSDL, Error (110): Connection timed out

 

Any idea what the problem might be?

 

I have php 5.2.10 and my linux server company I'm hosting this is adamant that cURL is installed. I don't seem to see any reference to this extension being installed via my cPanel.

 

I'm running DNP 2.8.7

 

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

from what i remember (personally not an expert with DNP) but you need SOAP installed on the server your WHMCS is installed on for the integration with DNP to work

Open port 9002 in your firewall, seems to me that SOAP is installed.

Did you get this issue fixed? My problems with DNP were fixed when I reinstalled DNP Enterprise Server on W2003 (was on W2008 before).

 

Matt did some SOAP debug work for us and found WHMCS wasn't at fault, we had 2 versions (one on Windows the other Linux) and we'd get the same error. As soon as we moved DNP Enterprise to Windows 2003 the WSDL errors went away!

If you browse to http://115.178.23.95:9002/esPackages.asmx?WSDL in a browser, (or similar if on linux) on the WHMCS server can you access the page? Sound to me, as others have said, that your DNP server is blocking the connection.

 

Works fine on 2008 or 2003.
