dannygoh
Hi, I started to used WHMCS and have lots of client imported from Modernbill. 1) If client is inactive and hosting & domain active, is WHMCS will create invoices when due? 2) If domain is expired, why the Domain Tab still query for name server. It delay a lot for the page to load. 3) If the domain is expired, it is good practice to set the domain registrar None. Why?
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted February 2, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted February 2, 2007 1) Yes, it will. The inactive status acts to stop the user from logging in. 2) Good point, I'll get this modified. 3) No, not really, you can leave it at whatever domain registrar it's always been set to.
dannygoh
If you fixed the script not to query anymore when Status is Expired, then item 3 is not really important. What is the ETA?
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted February 2, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted February 2, 2007 Well it's not a bug, so it's not a fix but just a modification. It therefore is not a top priority and will be included in the next update. The query should not take long at all.
