invoice automisation: generating invoices, but not send them yet?

Hi,

I keep having some issues with the automatic invoice generation function of WHMCS. I am therefore currently manually generating the invoices. Since the automation is basically why I bought the package however, I would very much like to use it.

The automatically generated invoices are immediately sent out with email notifications however and I would like to be able to check the invoices and make the necessary changes before they are being sent out. So what I would like is for the invoices to be generated automatically with the cron job and then they are ready for approval. Once I've approved the invoices they are sent to the customer. Is that possible?

Thanks for your help.

I have been bagging my head on the wall for the this. The system insists on emailing invoices without anyone checking them first. It is quite embarrassing when the system generates invoices not as intended and sometimes have to eat some costs because of billing mistakes. This can all be avoided if there was a way to turn off emailing for auto-generated invoices, but still be able to manually email invoices. Turning off the "Invoice Created" turns off email for auto-generated invoices AND manually sending invoices >:\

Sometimes I don't want WHMCS to send out the invoices, too, so I use the following workaround:

I alter the customer's e-mail-address to something invalid, e.g. "customer@domain.com" to "customer@domain.comz" or similar. This actually does not prevent WHMCS from sending out emails, but at least the customer don't get them...
