paulb
Hi Ok, I had 10 signups today & 5 used subscriptions, now I still had to mark the invoice PAID, shouldn't this be done automatically?, its also the same with normal invoices, I have to mark them PAID even if they have been paid. This is very confusing as it doesn't list any transaction number & I only have the email or name to find if the payment was made & this takes me time. Can you take a look?, the login details are still the same as when I sent them before to your email address. If you need them again I think you have my email address (also in profile). This is the most important feature I need working as I need invoices & billing to all be done automatically & the invoices to be marked PAID if using a subscription or not. Thanks
Adam
The system does this automaticly, did you setup the Cron job and the PayPal IPN URL?
paulb
The system does this automaticly, did you setup the Cron job and the PayPal IPN URL? Yes, Matt did the crons & the IPN has been changed. When will the cron change it?, I thought as soon as its been paid the callback should make WHMCS mark the invoice paid instantly?.
Adam
Well from what I recall Cron jobs are for invoices to be sent out and accounts suspended. Automation Settings To enable the automation features to run, make sure you set up a cron job to run once per day at the time you want invoices to be sent out and accounts suspended. The IPN url should tell WHMCS that the invoices has been paid. From what I read you just changed the IPN url, correct? I'm sure Matt can tell you more information.

Yes, the callback URL has been changed to what it says in the payment gateways section of WHMCS.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted March 27, 2006 WHMCS CEO Share Posted March 27, 2006 Hi Paul, Check the IPN is enabled in your PayPal Profile and if it is, try leaving the callback url blank and saving the information. If callbacks still don't work after this then I will need to take a closer look. Regards, Matt

WHMCS CEO Matt Posted March 28, 2006 WHMCS CEO Share Posted March 28, 2006 The correct callback url is passed to PayPal when the payment is made by the script. Matt
ScarabWeb
I get this same problem happening from time to time as well. Everything has been set correctly, but some subscriptions never get marked as paid and I have to do it manually. It's as if in some cases the callback through Paypal doesn't get through or something like that.

WHMCS CEO Matt Posted April 18, 2006 WHMCS CEO Share Posted April 18, 2006 Yeh, no problem. SotaHosting's issue has been resolved. It was nothing to do with WHMCS. It was because he didn't have a Business PayPal Account they weren't allowing him to create subscriptions with people so PayPal was giving an error.
