trying to have product custom fields show on the client MY Services page

I'm trying to figure out how to have the custom fields for a product show up on this below listed page for the clients. By default the only way to see the custom fields is on the product details page

 

/accounts/clientarea.php?action=products

 

I have tried to add the below code to the page inside the table but it's still not showing up.

 

{foreach from=$customfields item=customfield}
       <tr>
         <td class="fieldarea">{$customfield.name}:</td>
         <td>{$customfield.value}</td>
       </tr>
       {/foreach}

 

does anyone have an idea as to how I can fix this
