uneek
I have an issue in my cart where a client will pick hosting package and billing cycle (Step 1), enter in domain details (Step 2), but then they'll be asked to configure their hosting product (Step 3) which consists of a billing cycle option. The problem is, the user selects the billing cycle option in Step 1 (Im using the Default form order template). So what could happen is they select an option at Step 1, and may not notice they need to make the same selection again and possibly select the wrong billing cycle by just clicking Update Cart without realising. I do not have any configurable options set up at all, so I would assume that Step 3 would be skipped when a hosting package is selected. Hope that all makes sense? I've hunted around and can't find an option which would be causing Step 3 to be required. Im using v4.0.2 Cheers

Impact-John
hello uneek that is as i figured there is no bug or anything wrong with that system that is how the default cart behaves feel free to check out ours http://www.impact-connections.com/cart.php run through an order till you hit step three you will see it is same thing
uneek
Yeah, that is even more annoying than mine because you have only one billing cycle to choose from Surely there must be a way to get around this??
Impact-John
well here this is an example http://www.impact-connections.com/hosting.php click and order one of the products you will see that i have bypassed step one by using direct links on my sites pages to send them to that product thus eliminating the cart.php and thus eliminating step one unless some one clicks on order from support home page they wont see that from my site
uneek
Yeah I guess that is a good enough solution. I was planning on doing a similar thing, but still in the testing process so I've just been using the order link. Thanks John!
