Frankc
I wanted to "pay" about $10 dollar so I used below conversion ratio to create an invoice for R75. (Approcimately $9.66 / $9.67) 1 South African Rand = 0.12884 US Dollar at http://www.oanda.com (WHCMS = 0.12897) When I however proceed to pay via 2checkout.com the base R75.00 was charged as $8.33 8.33 US Dollar = 64.83680 South African Rand. What above means is that 2checkout.com use an exchange rate that definitively NOT to our benefit. Amount = R75 2checkout.com charge client account with R66 We get R64 minus 5.5% commission = R60 It means a loss of 20% in revenue for each transaction in other currency that's processed by 2checkout.com We have 2 currencies ZAR and USD. (R75 and $9.67) but if we pay an invoice via the ZAR base, client are charged $8.33 by 2checkout.com while, if the invoice was paid via the USD base, the client will be charged $9.67 thats about R75.
