Security question field not showing on registration page

I have it set up so that potential clients can register for my site, separate from ordering.

 

A potential client emailed me today and tried to sign up but this error came up (I had to recreate the issue myself to test it):

 

# You are required to enter a security answer #

 

But I'm not sure how to make the security question field show up on that page. The questions have already been set in the admin section. And they do show up when placing an order.

 

I upgraded to 4.0.2 but that was as soon as it was available. I'm not sure if this issue has been in play since then, and no one's told me. So I'm glad someone did finally.

 

I also tried a search and nothing was coming up.

In case anyone else is having this problem, all you need to do is:

 

upload/replace all files in your custom template folder except for the header.tpl and footer.tpl files using the files in the default template from the WHMCS 4.0.2 download.

 

Not too bad.
