Couple of Pre-Sales Questions

I am in the process of upgrading my company's systems and looking at using WHMCS to manage the billing side with Kayako for Support and TCAdmin as the panel for game servers. Currently I have 3 linux servers running web hosting and have just bought 2 windows servers to run game servers from.

 

What i would like to know is can WHMCS be run on Linux and Windows and is it possible to use the same db for customer details without the need for the customer to create 4 or 5 different logins for the different sections (billing, support, cpanel/tcadmin and forums)

Hi Vinnie,

 

Yes, WHMCS works on both Linux and Windows.

 

The WHMCS system provides one central area for your clients billing & support therefore with a single login. The cPanel/TCAdmin accounts your customers order each have their own login but they do get a direct & automatic login link from the WHMCS client area. Re forums, there is no integrated login by default but if you're familiar with programming you could probably create a loginshare or at least write a hook to create an account on the forum when signing up in WHMCS.

There's a couple more possibilities i'm looking into but WHMCS is the favourite at present.
