Several pre-sales questions

Question

Hi guys,

We are going to buy WHMCS, but have some questions.

1. We have lots of customers already, they pay via Paypal, 2CO, bank transfers, cheques etc. Is there a way to import them to WHMCS database from some sort of text file, comma-separated file, Excel book or something of that nature? We can export the customers and subscriptions list from 2CO and Paypal for example, but how to import it to WHMCS?

2. We have multiple 2CO accounts. Can we use them in WHMCS simultaneously?

3. We have 2 Paypal accounts, can we use them too?

4. Some of our 2CO accounts are in USD, others - in EUR. Is it possible to configure WHMCS appropriate way?

5. How does your 2CO integration works now? Some time ago we asked you and it was manual for recurring billing and also you did not support 2CO recurring billing with pre-created goods. WHMCS created non-recurring one-time 2CO orders and it is not good. Any improvements now?

6. What if a customer buys 2 hosting packages at a time (with a single order), but the orders have different billing periods (1 is monthly, another one - annual), will WHMCS recognize and bill it in correct way?

7. We have a custom control panel. Is there some sort of API that allows us to integrate it with WHMCS?

Thank you.

Hello,

1. You should be able to import your customers, however this would be dependant on where you are wanting to import them from.

2. Multiple 2co vendor accounts is possible to work within WHMCS, however you will need one of your WHMCS files modified. Matt provides this for free. Matt did mine and works well. If you need other currencies, just ask Matt to add them.

3. Multiple PayPal accounts is possible also, again this would require some modification so you'll need to submit a Support ticket for further information regarding this.

4. Same as No.2, so yes you can use them multiple currencies with each invoice passed through to the correct 2co vendor account based upon the currency selected.

5. Recurring billing is not yet supported with 2co.

6. Yes, WHMCS will know that each purchased product or service has different billing periods and therefore will invoice the Client based on that billing period.

7. If you are using a custom control panel, you can download the documentation explaining how to build your own module
