optize
I've had issues with PayPal subscriptions since day one, I was hoping someone else could provide some insight on how you guys do it. Issue: I force everyone to pay via a paypal subscription, easier that way and people usually pay their invoices on time. However the email templates tell them to pay their invoice every month, so multiple people every month would go in and pay. - The system would not recognize they already had a PayPal subscription, so when they went to pay the invoice, it would create a double subscription and they were sending me money twice a month. We fixed that problem by putting in all ***** DO NOT PAY THIS INVOICE ***** in the email template, and now most people don't pay it. However, I just found out that if someone buys an add-on domain later on, they can't get a paypal subscription for it, so the $2 dedicated IP add-on, they will manually need to pay. So, here's my problem. Since there's only one template for all paypal subscribers, how do I tell them to pay the invoice or not, it's very confusing for the customer. What I would like to see: - A email template for both invoices that will be paid via subscription and paid via manual payment. That way I can link them to the invoice and have them pay it if they need to manually pay it. - If they try to pay an invoice and you already have a subscription, it should not allow you. WHMCS knows if they have a subscription or not, based on their last payment. - The ability for add-ons to also be paid via subscription. Thanks -- we're willing to pay for these features as it's very frustrating!

TheIdeaMan
I've recently run into this as well. Please add a feature to prevent bills being sent requesting payment if there's an active PayPal subscription available. We now have to refund or credit several accounts because of this confusion. Thank you in advance.
