Username in order form

From what I can find in the forum it has been discussed a few times but I can not find a definitive answer.

 

How do you display the user-name and password field on the order form

 

I have a product that needs a user-name and password but can not take a domain. How do you get the user-name field filled in if there is no domain to derive a password from.

 

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Also the users must be able to select their username

When you setup a product, you can specify your own custom fields, like username, and password (and whether the field is required or not).

Check that in the Product /Service setp, maybe it is what you are looking for?!

That is what I am doing thank you.

 

But that is not a popper way of doing it if there is already a username field. This is duplication of data and can create confusion of which one is being used.

 

I just don't get whey there is a username and password field associated to every order but there is no way to allow the customer to choose their own usernames

 

WHMCS what is the big issue with not allowing us to expose it in the order forms

 

Feature request: in the server modules it would be nice to have a function _CustomFieldOptions() where we can return to automatically setup custom fields
