ditto
In "Setup" - "Products/Services", for each product, I have unchecked the box called "Apply Tax", I have rememered to unchecked the box in each of my products. But when the client from the clientarea click on the "Upgrade/Downgrade" button, and upgrades the hosting packacke, it includes the tax. The tax is both included in the summary upgrade page (in upgrade.php), and in the invoice email, and also in the invoice PDF. Is this a bug? If not, what can I do? Also, I don't seem to be able to translate the text "Package Upgrade:", wich is displayed on both the summary upgrade page (in upgrade.php), and in the invoice email and invoice PDF. Is it possible to translate this text? I have looked in the database and in all the files that is not encrypted, but with no luck.
aXeR
Has the client been marked as "Tax Exempt" ?
ditto
Has the client been marked as "Tax Exempt" ? No, the clients have not been marked as "Tax Exempt", is that really necessary? It would be impossible for me to manually do this, because it is not on a permanent basis that I am not including tax. (The "Tax Exempt" would have to be applied manually to each client, is that right?) I can mention that the invoices shows up fine and don't display tax on "normal" orders, it only happens when upgrading package. (In my contry, we don't pay tax until a certain amount is reached (within the last 12 month), so for me, who is not yet making a lot of money, I am constantly changing from year to year between not including tax, and including tax.) ditto
Has the client been marked as "Tax Exempt" ? Also, I just tested it by marking the client as "Tax Exempt", and it made no difference -- the tax is still included when the client make a upgrade.
ditto
I fixed it by temporarily adding 0.00% Tax Rate to Tax Rules. (Edit: The fix did not work as expected, and the problem is therefore still unsolved. The problem is that when i added 0.00% Tax Rate to Tax Rules, the tax is not displayed at all in the PDF invoice. I need it to be displayed there, also when it is zero.) Edited July 14, 2009 by ditto
