Demo version, Offline Payment method

Recommended Posts

I went for the demo and selected the offline payment method.

It took me to a page that read

Please wait while you are redirected to the gateway you chose to make payment...

Well, I didn't choose any gateway.. I chose offline payment.

Clicking on submit took me to payoffline.com

That is probably just because the demo site is configured that way using that payment gateway module but ONLY as an example. In so far as using your own version of WHMCS is considered, if you do not activate a particular module, when you configure it with your own specific settings, it will not be used.

Pay Offline is gateway that lets users pay at post offices and newsagents, when directed to their site you're presented with a page with a barcode to print out and take with you. That's why it's trying to direct to a gateway, but as redrat mentioned, it's not been configured correctly due to it only being a demo.

For 'normal' offline payments, you'd choose mail in payment or bank transfer.

Ok. I got it now. Thanks for the responses.

I was expecting WHMCS to be configured properly by WHMCS team :)

A demo should be an IDEAL setup to show what we can do and how to do it perfectly.
