system access requirements

Here's a really basic question I'm looking to confirm the answer to:

 

What sort of server access do I need for automatic hosting account creation via whmcs? I do not own or administer my own servers; I just have a reseller account. Am I to understand that this gives sufficient access to the application for it to set up hosting accounts automatically?

I think if you have access to WHM so you can create accounts for customers than you have the access you need to use this system.

 

Matt will probably give you a more detailed answer.

 

On another note i cannot express how much i like this system and how much Matt is willing to help customers. The support is worth the money alone and the system with the support makes it that much better. You cannot go wrong here.

Hi pactum,

 

Looks like everyones already answered your question but just to confirm, WHMCS will work with a reseller account and allow you to perform all the operations in WHM except creating reseller accounts.

No, there is no bug. You have to enter the remote access key and password.
