Gears
Is it possible to enable a customer to purchase x amount of a product? Like if I were selling giraffes, how could I make it so that the person can enter in the quantity of giraffes (ie. 3 giraffes) that he wants to buy? Is this even possible? I assume it is not.
keliix06
It can be done with a product addon. So your main product can act as an empty shell and you have a required addon with a quantity field.
Gears
Thank you. Under the Product Addon configuration page I do not see a field for quantity. What am I missing?
Gears
Oh, I think you meant Configurable Option. But even with that, there's no field for one time cycle
DedicatedPros
I am looking for this option as well, I just had a client order 5 dedicated servers and about to order 10 more, so I had to create the orders manually as he didn't want to go through the trouble There should really be an option for this, I don't see how you can have a cart without custom quantities Also if anyone could explain how to do this via the Addons/Config options I'd really appreciate it

Each server is a service in its own right. Each server has its own IP/Usernames (etc) sure a quantity where it spawns out 10x could be good, but then they still have to config the server with the names etc.
Redundant
Oh, I think you meant Configurable Option. But even with that, there's no field for one time cycle Hi, config options will work as a Setup fee which is one-time

If WHMCS added this feature, then its market could expand. For instance, if I sold computer parts or shirts or iPod cases then I would definitely need a quantity field.
itdeptcorp
Yes - I we need this also - I made a separate post about it to help resurrect its desire among WHMCS users. If its not inbuilt can it be coded to provide this feature as we need it also
