MMcC
If a client registers a domain and an account is created, then later logs in and tries to add hosting it asks for the domain name. If they enter the domain name they had already registered then Regardless which option is selected it always come back saying "The domain you entered is already registered with us - you will need to cancel it prior to placing a new order" What is the client to do at that point and how do they proceed in getting the hosting for the domain they already registered through us? Also, anybody know how to cancel the domain. Thanks
GORF
They use the "I will update my nameserver info" option.

MMcC
Update: In admin you can go under Setup / General setting / Ordering and uncheck Block Existing Domains That allows it to work. I don't think anyone would try to create a hosting account with the same domain name so I'm not going to worry about that.
tsiedsma
Update: In admin you can go under Setup / General setting / Ordering and uncheck Block Existing Domains That allows it to work. I don't think anyone would try to create a hosting account with the same domain name so I'm not going to worry about that. I was experiencing the same issues and have just been manually creating invoices for customers that experience this problem. I think it is frustrating but I think the solution should be allowing the Nameserver option. I propose that Matt and his team fix this so the option to Block Existing Domains can stay in place but a Domain customer can still register their hosting account by selecting the "I will update my nameservers" option.
