Hi,

Somebody know if the possible add transaction cost in WHMCS?

For example, I receive $1,000.00 in current month at the moment, so, today I need to pay the DataCenter.

How can I add the transaction cost, for I have a real value of the profit at the end of the month?

You can add the monthly cost of each server to that server product, so that it shows as an expense in your reporting.

from admin, "Setup" -> "Servers", select server in question, add monthly cost to field.

However, you can't do that automatically with domains or any products, config options or add-ons. You have to add these manually as costs, after the order is place /payment made.

the first one makes sense, as you have a cost for the server that is ussuaklly independant of the number of accounts or usage of that packages.

For the life of me, I can't understand why we don't yet have the ability to do the second one - none of the financial reports are a true reflection of the costs of the business.

In php myAdmin, "tbl servers" has a monthly cost, which means there are variables and calculations to handle this data, but "tblproducts" and "tbldomains" do not.

I suppose I should just add this (again) to Feature requests and hold my breath (always used to work as a kid) :)

Given the number of separate times this question has come up, perhaps it should be moved to Feature Requests with a bullet?

You shouldn't do that. And I'm sorry if I've lead you astray.

You can add the cost of any non-server transaction manually, after the tranaction has started.

See here. http://forum.whmcs.com/showpost.php?p=52573&postcount=35

You just can't have non-server transactions done automatically.

But your datacenter is a server transaction, isn't it?

If so, see my first post here for how to do it
