Miron
Hi, WHMCS v4 Under admin ticket panel, added attachment with dot in the name is wrongly handled. For example: if you add file with name "Filename.old.txt", in support ticket will be uploaded as "Filename.old", and then user can't open it because downloaded file has wrong extension, ".old" instead of ".txt".
Redundant
Related perhaps, I have .gz as an allowed extension. Attempting to attach a file: myfile.tar.gz will cause the system warn: The file you tried to upload is not allowed.
Miron
This is because the file is recognized as .tar and not as .gz file. I think that is some bug in handling with file names.
