Early Domain renewal Invoice issues

I set the domain invoice renewal notice area (in automation settings) to

 

First Renewal Notice 90 Enter the number of days before the renewal date to send the first reminder (0 to disable)

then 60, 30, 14 etc.

 

But it does not generate or send those renewals, the only notice that gets sent is the normal 14 days before due that all invoices have (hosting is set at 14 days prior).

 

What have i not set up correctly?

Those settings send reminder emails to renew the domain. As you observed, invoices are still generated 14 days in advance of expiry. If the reminder emails are not being sent, then the best course of action would be to open a support ticket.

seems that my domain reminder emails are not being sent as they should be.

is there a different cron that does this as the normal invoices are going ou ok as they should.

No, there is only one cron that does everything. As you will see in the cron email there is an item called "Upcoming Domain Renewal Notices Sent"

that seems to be my problem, i have never had a line

"Upcoming Domain Renewal Notices Sent"

on my cron emails, something seems to be missing somewhere?

Try re-downloading /admin/cron.php from the WHMCS client area and re-upload. If the problem persists, open a support ticket with your admin login details so we can run some tests.

installled a new version of cron.php
