I thought the prices would be converted

I have just upgraded to 4.0 so am still learning my way around.

I see that multiple currencies are supported but when a client goes to checkout they are not converted to the amount excepted by the gateway.

An example I use the THB and seen in the WIKI that it is supported but when a customer makes an order and tries to pay using PayPal it sends the amount as THB, PayPal doesn't except the THB I thought this update was suppose to convert it to the USD or another acceptable for of payment.

Does V4 do this? If not is there anyone with a module that does?

OK there seems to be a problem

I need to display my prices in THB (Thai Baht) the only way to do this is edit the default one which is USD, now I have to send USD to PayPal so I must add the USD as a second currency. Since I can not edit the default rate from 1.00000 to 35.00000 that means I have to set the USD to convert at the 35.00000

When I do this a 25000 THB now becomes a 875,000.00 USD purchase

I am sure I am doing something wrong here but not sure what.

If I leave the default currency to USD then all my prices are shown in USD.

Hi,

I have just installed the new version 4 and it is converting the price, for example from USD to Canadian dollar. I had it working fine but it would not convert the next product I added the following day.

It appears you may have to go into your admin panel and click on the 'Update Product Prices' or and the 'Update Exchange Rate' buttons (unless it was just cached yesterday) you will find under, Set-Up Currencies.

I started out by using a percentage of 1.20 for the lower Canadian dollars and I noticed today it changed on its own to 1.16. Great feature! Thanks
