itomic
Running WHM Import Script - 56 accounts imported successfully, 21 did not. Unless I'm going blind and/or mad (more than likely!) there are *definitely* corresponding hosting packages setup in both WHMCS and WHM for all but one of the accounts that failed to import. So what are other reasons why accounts may fail to import?
MACscr
Its usually a package name (remember that case, spacing, and character sensitive) or you already have the account in WHMCS.
itomic
Its usually a package name (remember that case, spacing, and character sensitive) or you already have the account in WHMCS. I've got a package called 'Economy' and it's definitely setup with precisely the same name in both WHM and WHMCS, and yet it's still failing to import. Not a lot of room for error there - I've checked for whitespace too. Perhaps this is a v.3 Beta 2 bug? Note also that the WHM Import Script appears to create duplicate Client records if you run it twice, i.e. it doesn't stop the re-importing of accounts that have already been successfully imported, which is a bug IMHO http://whmcs.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2249

MACscr
Oh yeah, here is a quote from Matt from another post about whm import: you have entered the WHM Package Name in the Product Name field and not the Package Name field. The product name is used only on your order form and can be whatever you want - I doubt you would want to display "propiowe_planPropio" to your customers. Where you need to enter "propiowe_planPropio" is on the Package Quotas tab in the Package Name field of the product setup page.
itomic
1. We're using root login for the server setup 2. I thought we had it solved with that quote from Matt about ensuring that the package name was entered in the correct place. For the 'Economy' hosting account Product in WHMCS I looked in Servers Settings (tab) > WHM Package Name and it was incorrectly set to 'Basic' (one of our other package names) instead of Economy. All the other packages were setup correctly in this regard, and all accounts associated with the other packages are always importing just fine. So I fixed it, re-ran the WHM Import Script with high hopes... but it failed again. So something else is stopping it importing successfully. http://forums.whmcs.com/viewtopic.php?t=2248 As suggested above, it would be excellent if the import script could state the reason for the failure, i.e. what conditions are not being met.
Twobit
I too have this issue with V3.0RC2. Yes i have been through all related topics in the forums and manual ( i think ), the fields are identical as stated above and in the manual. I even removed spaces, underscores, caps etc - but still fail... I'm not sure if there is anything else i can check to see if it works... Thanks!
