ffeingol
Hello, I was just wondering if there was/was going to be an API call to create billable items (new feature in 4.0). Thanks
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted May 11, 2009 WHMCS CEO Share Posted May 11, 2009 Yep, sure is. Just added the docs for it @ http://wiki.whmcs.com/API:Add_Billable_Item Matt
ffeingol
Hello Matt, Just to make sure I'm on the right track with this. We need late fees to work a bit differently than the way that WHMCS does it by default. Basically if the invoice is past due it needs a late fee until it's paid. So what I was thinking of doing was creating a little cron job that walks the database and finds any past due invoices. For each invoice it finds it would add a billable item (for the late fee) wit a next invoice type. That would then add all the late fees to the next invoice generated. Does this make sense / seem like a proper way to implement this? Thanks, Frank
AxlF
Hey ffeingol, any new here? Does it work how you described? I find your idea great! Regards, Alexander
ffeingol
Have not had time to implement but we believe this will work perfectly for what we want. I'll follow up when we have time to implement.
