WickedShark
What does this mean and what can you do with it. I have not tried it yet. Enter a subdomain here to allow a subdomain to be used with this package (Format: .yourending.extension) Is anyone using this option or knows what it does or what the benefit to using it might be?
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted February 23, 2006 WHMCS CEO Share Posted February 23, 2006 This option is for if you want to allow your customers to use a free subdomain with that package. For example, you could offer a free hosting account that clients can use a subdomain with and so you would enter .yourdomain.com in the subdomain box and this would then be an option to the customer when they order the package. Hope that clears it up! Matt
Devon
Can this also be a temperary way for them to access the site while they're dns gets transfered? If so... What else would they have to do after registering?
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted July 3, 2006 WHMCS CEO Share Posted July 3, 2006 No, this can't be used as a temporary way to access their site. You can use http://YOURIP/~username/ to do that. The default welcome email contains that anyway. Matt
