Addon module pagination

Hi All,

 

I am not an expert with php and mysql, but starting to get the hang of it. I am editing the IP Manager addon module to adjust to add and retrieve records from db table. I want to add pagination, say 20 records per page, but am done a load of searching on google but can't seem to add it seem to get errors or 500 server error or blank screen.

 

has anyone managing to add pagination to addon module and is willing to share?

 

Some examples would be good, then I can try to understand what i'm doing.
