WIS hosting
Hello, I have a simple question: Why is the expiry date for domainnames sometimes automaticly filled in. And sometimes it stays 00/00/0000. I never use the expiry date so I always keep it on 00/00/0000, but I found out that some domains the expiry date is one year after the registration date. This must been done automaticly. How and when is this automatic?
chickendippers
Which registrar module are you using? Enom and Resellerclub have an automatic expiry date synchronisation feature.
WIS hosting
I am using no registrar module (E-mail) because mine is not supported. But when does it automaticly fill in the expiry date and when does it keep 00/00/0000?
RyanH
It seems to be when it registers a domain using a module, the expiry gets set, as then it knows it will be 1 year from the current date. But for a transfer, where it doesn't know what the expiry date will be, it's left for you to set.
WIS hosting
Yes, it seems that after a register it does now the expire date. But after a transfer it doesnt now that!
