We are strongly considering WHMCS to manage our customer billing but we are new to this software and have some questions:
- Is it possible to use our own order form? If so please tell me how we will send order info to WHMCS for tracking.
- Is it possible to make database changes via WHMCS based on the customer's billing status? Our scenario is this:
1) customer signs up with only desired email/password to use our demo product. At this point an account is created on both our end and WHMCS. After trial period, customer is prompted to make payment to continue using our product.
2) when a customer fails to make payment, WHMCS automatically accesses our database to turn off access to their account.
3) when a payment is made, WHMCS turns on access to our product.
Please let me know if this is possible with WHMCS, and please provide detailed info. We don't mind writing our own modules, but we're not sure where to start. Basically, we want WHMCS to track our customer billing, but we do not want to use it for anything else like the signup forms. Thank you.
