addeacher
What about customers who don't use whmcs to monitor server and setup account automatically, however use the sytem for customer support and billing etc. There is no selection to just email all client without selecting a server. Perhaps this should be add to V3 if possible without a headache.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted January 3, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted January 3, 2007 You can email individual customers already. Just go to Clients > View Clients, select the clients you want to send a message to by checking the checkbox and then click the Send Message button. Alternatively, you can email all clients by going to Clients > Mass Mail > Email All Clients.

Ian
You can email individual customers already. Alternatively, you can email all clients by going to Clients > Mass Mail > Email All Clients. When I line everything up to send a mail to most or all of my clients I see they are all listed in the "to:" field. Do all the addresses turn up at every cliennt email or are they sent as individuals? I just wanted to check before I hit the button Thanks Ian
PPH
They are sent individually and will show each one in your email log.
Ian
Thanks for the quick reply. I thought it should do that but a check was worth while just in case Regards Ian
Dominic
Just to follow up on this, on a similar note - selecting a server doesn't find any clients to e-mail for us. This is probably because we've imported a database and as such clients don't have orders, just the hosting account entry. Nonetheless the hosting account entry is set to the right server - the reports and so on all work. Is it possible to make the mass mail server selection work by just the hosting entry rather than orders located on the server? That's the only reason I can think of for it not finding any clients to e-mail, anyway
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted February 24, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted February 24, 2007 You must select a server and packages on the server to send to - not just a server.
