install question

I am at the part of the installation where it says

 

Run the installation script at http://www.yourdomain.com/whmcs/install/install.php (choose New Install on Step 2) - This will guide you through the rest of the setup process. On the last step, it will ask you to setup a cron job and provide you with the exact command you need to use. If you fail to do this, then automated tasks will not be performed.

 

 

I am a little unclear here. I have not finalized the domain yet I want to use for my hosting front end. Also, is the idea to have whmcs a folder within my hosting front end or as a subdomian ie whmcs.mysite.com

Well if you haven't got a domain name yet, where have you uploaded WHMCS?

 

You can install it in a subdirectory, or setup a subdomain, whatever floats your boat. We prefer to use subdomains with SSL certs.
