A320guy
Hello, I am curious about the billing system. Is it a single system or is it 2 systems, one that faces the customers and another that contains all the critical and private billing data? What server does it get installed on? What if I have 5 physical servers that will be hosting all of my websites? Will the system interface with Direct Admin?
0 tweaked
I see it as a single system with separate client area and admin area. The security is excellent as far as the scripting goes and there are things you can do to improve security on your server and website to protect your billing system. You install WHMCS on the website of your company or the site you want your customers to access it. It does not matter what server the site you install WHMCS is on except that it is wise to have your company or site with WHMCS on its own server away for your customers websites for added security and layer of redundancy. Please see http://wiki.whmcs.com/Main_Page for all the details including requirements and security steps. Direct Admin is included in the server module list at http://wiki.whmcs.com/Server_Modules
