[NOT A BUG] plesk windows account creation...

Hi all

 

I have whmcsw setup for a linux cpanel server and windows plesk server which works, but on the windows plesk server although whmcs creates the account, when you try and go to the holding page it says page cannot be displayed.

 

in the welcome email that whmcs creates it says until your domain resolve you can view your website here http://123.123.123.34/~username

 

though when clicking on this link it says page cannot be displayed. Has anyone else experienced this?

That's because that address is not correct for Plesk Temporary URL.

 

Log into Plesk and click on site preview - it will show the correct link for the temporary URL. You can then edit the email to show this link instead.

The login link for plesk will be: - 123.123.123.123:8443

 

Obviously replacing the ip with the one it is set up for. If it helps, I can post the email template we use for plesk accounts?
