StartYourServer
I am interested in changing the price for one of the hosting plans StartYourServer is offering. So here is my question: If I change the price will it effect clients who are already using that hosting plans? I don't want their prices to be raised. I only want to change the price for new customers who will be signing up...

Jay
So it is safe for me to change my package prices and not worried about my current clients being effected by it? Yes. The new price will only be for new orders.
MonkeyMagic
Yes. The new price will only be for new orders. If that is the case, then how would you change the pricing for existing customers? Forgive me as I am new to WHMCS ...
scurrell
If that is the case, then how would you change the pricing for existing customers? Either manually, one by one, or with a SQL script against the database.
MonkeyMagic
So if we have 2000 customers on a package, and we change the pricing from $9.95 to $11.95 - then it has to be done manually? wow - ClientExec was much more user friendly in that area.
disenioweb
wow - ClientExec was much more user friendly in that area. The only one
equipc
If you have a little knowledge of SQL it can be done in a few seconds using PhpMyAdmin for example.
ES-Aizal
Would loved to see WHMCS to have an option, something like: Enter your new price: Please choose: []All accounts []New accounts only
MonkeyMagic
Would loved to see WHMCS to have an option, something like: Enter your new price: Please choose: []All accounts []New accounts only That would actually be a fantastic way of dealing with this - perfect!!!

ChrisGooding
It is indeed, and I am sure it has been requested previously in the feature requests section, if not definitely well worth adding. That said, there's also a number of threads on here already with the sql script that you can run to do it
openmind
Yep it is a good idea, took me about about 30 seconds to do it with script but would be nice to see it as an option...
