2co currency

If this has been answered before then apologies as I can't find this - just installing WHMCS and am a touch confused on gateways.

Two questions:

1.

We currently use a gateway (2checkout) that allows us to send data in $AUD and does the processing in $US by dynamically adjusting based on current exchange rate
at the gateway
.

I look at the payment gateway definition in the WHMCS configuration and it appears that I have to put a manual conversion rate into the configuration and it is then adjusted by WHMCS and sent onto 2CO in $US.

Is this correct?

Or is it simply that you don't send any currency indicator to 2Checkout and so you are assuming it is $US - and so the 2Checkout conversion will still work?

2.

The same issue with Paypal. In Paypal we pass over the currency code we are using AUD when the details are sent to Paypal. How would we be able to do that with WHMCS

Thanks for reading this and I hope someone can assist

cheers

Yes - I picked that up (will be in V4.0) - so why are we asked to put a currency exchange rate in the payment gateway configuration for 2 checkout?

Also how would I insert the parameter to Paypal to signify that I am paying in AUD ?
