Blueberry3.14
hey guys what a godo merchant that is good with people that have no so good credit FWIW, I would probably use PayPal or Google in that case. Each merchant account pulls your credit report (and some do it annual, and/or when you try to raise your limit/average ticket). If your credit is already bad, you don't need another report pull showing, even if it is only 1 point. The best thing for a bad credit report is time. Let those bad reports age a while. If it's an option, use PayPal for now, then in 6 months to a year when your report looks better check with merchant account providers. Depending on how bad your bad credit is, they can/will charge you a high discount rate, using your credit as a basis. Especially in this economy, there is no mercy for past mistakes.
Blueberry3.14
I got intuit quickbooks merchant account but whmcs don't intergrate with it Intuit should have their own gateway that *will* work with WHMCS. It's not the merchant account but the gateway that interacts with WHMCS. Ask Intuit, my guess is they use Authorize.net. It's a snap to set up in WHMCS.
tweaked
umm.. I had terrible credit some time ago due to some hardships and CDGcommence gave me a merchant account with excellent rates and even a reseller account.
moonsoft
DO NOT USE BLUEPAY!!!! These people advertise 24/7 support, which they do NOT have, and look at thier BBB online rating "satisfactory" that should say it all, as BBB member it takes alot to be called Satisfactory. Someone has recommended another merchant gateway provider called charge.com appearantly Apple uses them, zero setup fee. Avoid banks like Wells Fargo if you take any international credit cards, Wells fargo wants 10% of your transaction for those!!!.. Bluepay charges me roughly 4.60% which is just crap as well. Im searching for a newer provider as we speak and am waiting on a quote from Charge.com When looking for a merchant provider make sure you REALLY READ THE FINE PRINT, these people are worse than tax collectors, they screw you in every way they can, from not warning you about chargebacks on your bank accounts, to not automatically renewing your contract so if you cancel you get to pay them over $300.00
DN_Matt
I've been using bluepay after my authorize.net account became too expensive, and I've got nothing but good things to say about my experiences. Any issues I've had have been resolved instantly on the phone with their support techs and I would recommend them to anyone who asked.

moonsoft
Paypal definetly Are you serious?!?!??! I HAD used pay-pal before, they did 3 things to me 1. put a rolling reserve on my accounts meaning that 10% of my sales were not paid to me they were held for 60 days. 2. put a hold on my account when i did alot of business..... 3. Would let people dispute charges even after service was rendered and get a refund..... FORGET PAY-PAL, if you are serious about doing business, and ever get to a place where you're clearing lots of payments expect PROBLEMS I'm not too fond of Blue-pay, as they caused me several serious issues, but I would definately recommend them over Pay-Pal

alexr186
We recomend authorize.net. We have a great reseller of authorize.net which only charges $5.00 a month for authorize.net gateway with local merchant support. Check out his website at http://www.taskermerchantservices.com The support and service has been amazing! Alex:lol:
zzb
Intuit should have their own gateway that *will* work with WHMCS. It's not the merchant account but the gateway that interacts with WHMCS. Ask Intuit, my guess is they use Authorize.net. It's a snap to set up in WHMCS. Yes they do... I am investigating this right now. I did speak with their gateway "experts" and they explained that they use Authorize.net and their rates were not bad but not as good as the post above this one. I asked these folks above in portland maine to give me a call. I use Magento for an eCommerce store for other parts of my business and it would be good to not depend on Paypal and Google checkout. Now if we could have a way to export files that are Quickbooks compatable then you really have a nice fully integrated system using all the major platform providers.
