Curl Error Protocol https not supported or disabled in libcurl

I am trying to find out the fraud reason with MinFraud....checked the order and that is the error I see.

 

Kind of curious on this error. I compiled curl with SSL myself!!

Here is another question..assuming that WHCMS is using the API provided by Maxmind....I could have simply changed the API...but it is encrypted I could have just disabled the check using SSL....could an option inside WHMCS for Maxmind be added to not use SSL? Shudder that I would want to do that...lol

Is anybody else having trouble viewing fraud status in WHMCS from Maxmind?

 

I have checked, recompiled and even updated curl on my server and I can not get it to register that Curl with SSL is available. I am just curious to see if there is possibly any spaces in the SSL address in the maxmind/minfraud SSL address in the API file.

I checked to make sure curl was installed correctly by browsing to the https address for maxmind and it responded as it should - with no errors in the console.

 

For whatever reason, even though PHP says it is compiled with it...I keep receiving the error:

 

Curl Error Protocol https not supported or disabled in libcurl

same problem here , however I am receiving the error in linkpoint !

 

curl ssl is enabled please help !
