Okay, Im looking at purchasing a billing system.

This system has been reccomended to me by 3 people so I thought id check it out.

Obviously Id love an owned license but clearly i dont have $325 lying around. (Plus im in th UK so i dont have any dollars lying around.)

Anyway, say i was to purchase the monthly payment at $19 then 17 months down the road I will of payed the full price of an owned license, at that point is it possible to upgrade to an owned license for no extra cost?

 

Or is there some sort of deal so that you can pay monthly but payments top when you reach the $325 price of the owned license?

 

Does that make sense?

No, we don't offer a lease to owned scheme. Lease payments wouldn't count towards an owned license purchase later on.

The monthly fee covers more than just a license. You're also paying for support renewals, which is about $4/month with the owned license.

 

Even so, at $19/month you're not going to find another billing system that matches the features.

But if you wanted to buy a license even though you are leasing can you do that?

Yes, you can changed from leased to owned.

Considering they don't even publish a price for unlimited clients, which WHMCS supports, there's your answer

Personally speaking, WHMCS is farrrr toooo cheap. Matt should be charging $1000+

Modernbill is a pile-o-crap, we used it for years and it only ever went from "not too great" to "totally dreadful"
