Emailing problems.

Hi,

 

After the painful upgrade I encounter some errors which I consider as critical:

 

1. Error 1. No login data sent in the New Account Information message

 

[CustomerEmail]

[MAPassword]

 

are not sent to the client.

 

2. Error 2. No domain name is recorded at signup.

 

This occurs randomly but it is extremely annoying.

 

3. Error 3.

 

Signup notification contains another domain than the one in the client's order.

While your product seem to be a promising one, I highly recommend that you review the emailing functions and the way the script is parsing the variables, as well as the upgrade procedure. I think that after that the 2.3 version of the script will be usable in production.

Thank you for the quick fix of bugs 1&2

 

The only remaining one is nb. 3 which isn't critical because it is the notification sent to admin at a new signup.

Please provide some more information about this error as I cannot reproduce it or find anything wrong with the code which sends the admin notification of a new order.

Painful upgrade? You gotta be joking me. The upgrade process is pretty easy and straight forward. It should not be painful at all!!

 

Anyway just my 2 cents.

I think romedchim is saying it was painful because she had to spend a couple of minutes upgrading the ioncube loaders her server had as she had ioncube installed in php.ini rather than using the runtime loaders bundled with the system. However, it was very easy to do so I think everything is resolved now.
