Adding additional contact fields...

Hi,

 

Okey had WHMCS for a day, so far ripped it apart and integrated it...

I need to add additional fields to the pre-sales contact page, Now i can do this in the contact.tpl.. but obviously additonal fields do not get delivered as i need to add them in on the mail delivery function... however locating this have become tricky.

 

Im presuming as i cant find it in non-encoded PHP, the delivery function is hidden in encoded php.. can one of the developers confirm this, point me in the right direction or advise on how i progress..

 

Basically i want the pre-sales contact form to look like this -> http://www.bedot.net/contact.php

why not just replaced the whmcs contact form with your own one? Its a lot easier then modifying an existing one to just duplicate what you already have.

hmm good point.. if i was to use the existing pre-sales page, add my require fields in and just post to a different page which then delivered via send mail that would work..

again, why not just take off the whmcs presales contact link and just use your own. Dont even worry about the WHMCS contact page. AFAIK, it doesnt nothing special as far as logging or filling in fields for you.

Yeah thats fair enough, Ive done that now.. i just need to finish off the page it posts too.
