Zixt
Dear WHMCS forumers, I want to set up an automatic system for the domain registration, but most of the services WHMCS has, require payment for the signup. How can I enable it to use GoDaddy or some other registrar? Regards, Conor Murphy
dmc_ss
GoDaddy is not currently supported. There are some free registrars that are supported, NetEarthOne is one of them and which I use. Anyway it looks like GoDaddy charge £174.80 to become an API reseller, which is what you would need to buy in order to allow WHMCS automation I believe.
chickendippers
http://www.whmcs.com/domainresellers.php All resellers in my experience require you to add funds to your account in advance (like a pre-pay mobile phone). To charge retrospectively would be foolhardy. eNom have a $100 minimum, DirectI has no such minimum.
readywire
NetEarthOne does not charge a huge minimum like eNom. We've been working with them now for about six to seven months and are quite pleased. Worth checking out!
dmc_ss
I agree, NetEarthOne has been good for us too.
