0 WHMCS CEO Matt Posted January 24, 2009 WHMCS CEO Share Posted January 24, 2009 Yes, it's possible to install & run WHMCS on IIS. I believe the issue with your license was resolved via a ticket. Matt

0 nathany
I've found that to use WHMCS with IIS6 you need run PHP CGI rather than the ISAPI module, otherwise the licensing doesn't work. One problem I suffer with is cron.php working intermittently, or rather it has to be executed 2 or 3 times in order to complete a single cron 'cycle'.
0 d3signz
ok cgi or isapi ?
0 nathany
In my experience you will need to use the CGI version of PHP.
0 mediademon
Run my install on ISAPI ok, you just need to run the cron job using something like WGET... and use Helicon if you need rewrites.
0 nathany
I don't seem to be able to get it to work with ISAPI. The client area works fine, but the admin area prompts to enter a valid license. If I reset the license then login it works for the duration of that session but then next time I go to login it results in an invalid license error.
0 dmc_ss
Check you're not redirecting your URL somewhere else. If you set your licence by using a subdomain you must use that subdomain all the time.
0 mylove4life
both will work, but they have to setup right of course...
