the_island
Hi there, i am a newbie here, and trying to setup and configure whmcs... I will need everything to work correctly in Greek. I have managed to make both iso-8859-7 and utf-8 to work, BUT before finalizing it, I have 2 questions: 1. Which encoding should I use, so that Greek characters can be used by my clients to register .gr domains ? Which enconding does the Greek registrar accept ? 2. How about international registrars ? Which one accepts the suggested encoding (Enom ?, Directi ?) ? Thanks a lot !

chrismfz
If you use eppgr for registering .gr domains, they have a php function to encode from iso-8859-7 to utf8. ICS is only accepting UTF-8. If you make a custom module dont forget to visit php.net to see the exact command (iconv I think) to convert iso to UTF. Same with Directi, you can send Greek Chars with UTF-8.
the_island
Thank you chrismfz ! So, it's better to stick to utf-8... Seems to be compatible with anyone... My next question is: Are there any modules that will allow me to communicate with 1. ITE for domain registrations 2. some Greek bank for payments I respect any developer's work, and I am willing to purchase the module(s) if it is a commercial one (ok it depends on the price ). Thank you
