xenorhosting
Hey guys. I have problems with emailing on WHMCS. It'll send the automated emails fine, like signup emails. But when i tried to send a specially written one to a client, it won't send. Any ideas why? Also, how do i check if my cron job is running successfully? Thanks.

Matt Wade
If the cron job is running succesfully, you should receive and email with what it did. You can also check the Activity Log (Utilities->Activity Log) and see if it ran. As for your email issue, can you specify exactly what emails are being sent? Is it only emails that you go into the admin and click something to send that are not sending?

xenorhosting
Can anyone help with this?
Matt Wade
Sounds like it could be a permissions issue. When you click, the user that apache or php is running as is trying to send the email. When it is automated, the user that the cron is running as is sending the email.
