FIX (apparently I can't edit my original post)

I've found a fix for this. To see if you need the fix, create a file in your root direction where whmcs is installed called "sessionpath.php". Inside that file write in:

<?php
session_start();
echo "Session save path is ", session_save_path();
?>

Go to your browser and execute that file, if it reads: "Session save path is N;/path", this is the fix for you.

Create a file called ".htaccess" in the root directory of whmcs (if the file is already that file there then just add the line below) and add the line below:

php_value session.save_path '/tmp'

Then create a directory called "tmp" and change it's permissions to 777.

Done :).
