MACscr
I am going to be blunt as usual: its pretty horrid. Especially if your advertising that you provide web design services. I am not sure what to provide you for feedback that will actually help you though since the quality of the design is obviously a point of view issue. Do you honestly like the design you came up with? Do you really feel that it reflects the quality of web sites that you feel you can design for your clients and benefits them? There are all kinds of questions you should be asking yourself when designing a site. If you need some inspiration of some quality design work, this link 50-sources-for-web-design-inspiration might help you out a bit.

ctyler
Wow. That definately is blunt. Thank you for your input. I really do appreciate it. Horrid is pretty strong but could you be more specific. Is it the colors? To plain? Is it the integration? Could you possibly give me a link to a site you do like as a point of reference? Thank you for your time.
Shimmy
It looks too basic for a site advertising design. Your logo is even hard to read. Imho....I would go somewhere else if I were looking for someone to design a site for me.
sotoman
i wouldnt say its horrid. not totally spot on, but not horrid. i do like the way you integrated the WHMCS sidebar into your own. too many times i see people leave it the way it is. i think its clever the way you did that. the colors are catchy, and the graphic on the front page works. your layout needs tweaking, but its not the end of the world. more content on the design page, examples of work, better description of the process. id just add more words, people like to read before they make a decision like choosing a webhost. i have some templates you can have, or if youd like some 1 on 1 help, PM me.
ctyler
Shimmy, thanks for the input. I agree that it is a little plain and to be honest, that was really what I was aiming for. Now that you metion it, I see your point. The logo on the other hand I did like but I seem to be the only one. Sotoman, Thanks for the compliment. My original design I thought was a little to cluttered and I was trying to strip it down but I think I swung to far down the other end of the spectrum. I would like to take you up on the templates and will PM you shortly. I really appreciate everyones input. As a business owner, I know everyone one is busy. Thank you for your time. I don't know if anyone else runs in to this but for me, it is 100 times easier to design for someone else than it is myself. Thanks CT
clbryan26
I concur on your statement; It is definitely easier to design for others... I am extremely critical of myself and my work. I always want to improve and do better. We do webhosting and design and our site has to be perfect! Most of our customers want something nice, and are happy when its done. We on the otherhand want to re-invent the wheel every day...
sotoman
heres a link to some free hosting templates. theyre not the best, but theyre a start. http://www.resellerguide.com/p/free-hosting-templates id also agree about designing for someone else. a client has a point where he says 'i love it!' and then you stop. i know ive done my own site at least 3 times.

herpherp
http://templates.hostgator.com/Hosting/ there are 39 there, if you need one PM me with the one you want and i will grab it for you. I wouldn't be passing hostgators templates around to non-host gator customers as they are only allowed to be utilized on hostgator servers.
