Blank page after submitting ticket reply

In the admin area, after submitting a ticket or reply, I get a blank page although the response is recorded.

 

It looks like it only happens in the admin area and not the client area. I saw that there were similar problems with the client area but those were due to template issues, which wouldn't be the case here in the admin area.

 

I had to recompile apache/php, upgrading it to 5.28 so I could add curlssl support. Afterwards, the ticket thing happened with no apparent other problems.

 

Anyone have an idea where I could look or what I could try?
