LogicBoxes Module in WHMCS

JFSG

Question

When we register a domain via WHMCS, the cost of the domain will be deducted from the funds we had topup in the LB platform on the registrars right?(ResellerClub, NetEarthOne etc.) Lets assume the client pay via PayPal. PayPal will deduct 2.9%+$0.30 from the cost the client had paid right? So if we charge $10 on WHMCS, we will earn $9.41 total. So we will be making a loss here? If we use the SuperSite, we can at least deduct the fees PayPal charges while they topup funds in the SuperSite. But if do it via WHMCS, won't we be losing quite some money, especially when using NE1, they deduct the PP fees from the funds you topup..

Thats incorrect, firstly RC/DI and NE1 are the same from the respect of what funds are credited to the actual reseller account.

Now if you sell for $10 dollars, and receive $9.41, and you are say on our Tier 2, which costs you $7.89 per domain (plus fees) this equates to 8.41 using your figures.

Therefore 1 dollar has been made, now, rememebr this is expensive if you only do it on a per domain basis, because you are adding each transaction fee.

If you placed say $30 on your NE1/RC account then you would in fact you would see a credit of $28.83 on your reseller account, (only 1 transaction fee here remember), thus saving 60 cents, and gaining in profit 60 cents on the sales.

Now you can get 3 domains in that $28.83 and have left $5.16 credit balance. take the PP fee of $1.17 divide by 3 means only 39 cents per domain actual cost, therefore 7.89 + .39 = 8.28 means you get $1.13 profit. And you still have $5.16 on your account.

The more you deposit the cheaper the PP fee, as you do not have to add per transaction fees (only 1 needed).

Dont forget GoogleCheckout, thats only 2% plus 20 cents. So more could be made from that.
