Configurable options groups

With this new feature, we can apply groups of configurable options to multiple products/services. This is great because I can apply the same groups of options to different product/services. However, our prices of the options change according to what the product/service is. Anyone have any ideas on how to accomplish this? If not, I guess I won't be able to use this feature and will just have to do it the old way.

Simply create a number of groups.

 

i.e.product type 1, product typ 2 et

 

then just create a group for each product.

 

If your like us, with some 100 products then the old way was a nightmare, we now have four groups for the payment options.

 

Alternatively lets say its only 1 of the options that changes. You can then create 1 'Master group' which contains all config options apart from the one that changes, then create an addon group per change, and add that to the product groups.

 

Remember, you can apply more than 1 group of addons to a product
