we had a similar issue when we first started testing,

this is from Joe ( answered my ticket ) worked like a charm

Hi

Sounds like you have a firewall blocking the connection. The port being used depends on what module you are using but for cPanel it would be 2086/2087, Plesk 8443, DirectAdmin 2222, etc...

You will need to allow for incoming and outgoing connections on both the local and remote servers.

Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

Regards,

Thanks a lot can you tell me where in mod security I must exactly allow these?

I know it is in /etc/httpd/conf.d

but do not know what I should add or edit exactly

Mod_Security isn't a firewall. You need to enable the ports in the firewall software you have installed on your server (usually CSF+LFD). Look in /etc/csf.
