drperdew
Hi - I'm new to WHMCS - 90 days or so - and I'm probably missing something here, but I'm very confused by the affiliate system. I'm offering 25% commission to my affiliates for hosting services. That part is registering fine. But I'm really unsure how to pay them. I've set up a 45 day delay. So, the affiliates have basically received one e-mail from me saying that they've made X number of sales and have X dollars due to them. But I don't see a way to pull payment info easily, to apply payment, etc. And the documentation isn't much help unless I'm missing it. Can someone walk me through the process? Thanks in advance for your time. David
chickendippers
When they make a withdrawal request, you go into the customer account and give them the credit. You then go to the affiliate account and log that payment.
drperdew
When they make a withdrawal request, you go into the customer account and give them the credit. Sorry - that's the part I really don't understand. I've never used a system where the affiliate makes a withdrawal request. 1) Where do they do that? 2) Does it show up as a support ticket? 3) Can I do that for them? You then go to the affiliate account and log that payment. I assume that "write a check" or "send a PayPal payment" happens before that and that all appears to be manual - correct? Thanks for your help. Love this application. Just getting to know the system though. David
chickendippers
1. In the client area (affiliates.php) 2. Yes 3. Why would you want to make withdrawal requests for them? You could just assign the credit/cheque/paypal without the need for them to make a request. It's all manual, yes.
